The Gateway Pastel Artists meet on the second Monday of every month except July & August.

The First Congregational Church of Webster Groves (second floor)
10 W. Lockwood, Webster Groves, Mo.
(southwest corner of Lockwood and Elm)
Time: Meetings start at promptly at 7:00 PM and go to 9:00 PM

| Monday, April 12: Barbara Remely Martin will be our guest speaker. She will be demonstrating her pastel techniques for creating Urban Landscapes with people in them. |

April Madness Challenge: For our April meeting the challenge is to paint something that depicts your vision of SPRING. Paint anything you want as long as it says "spring" to you. You have to create the painting between now and our April 12 meeting, and you must use pastels, soft or oil. Any size you feel comfortable with. Bring it to the meeting and those in attendance will vote on our favorite and award a prize.
April 11 - May 22: GPA Exhibition at Maryland HeightsCenter. Members only may submit two pastel painting for the exhibition. Details to be announced.
April 17: Paula Ann Ford Landscape Workshop. An all day workshop. Go to the workshop page for details. |
| Monday, May 10: Marla Rush-Parnell will show us how she approaches painting pets and animals. Marla won Best in Show at the 24th Annual Art Show At The Dog Show in Wichita, Kansas with a painting of her Shetland sheepdog. |

Monday, June 14: Linda Wilmes will be our guest speaker and will demonstrate her landscape painting techniques. |
Saturday, October 13: Barbara Remely Martin will be conducting an all-day Plein Aire Workshop at Castlewood State Park. Details will be announced in the near future. |
