Meetings

The Gateway Pastel Artists meet on the second Monday of every month except July & August.

Location:
The First Congregational Church of Webster Groves (Second floor)
10 W. Lockwood, Webster Groves, Mo.
(southwest corner of Lockwood and Elm)

Time:   Meetings start at 7PM and run through 9PM

Guests are welcome.

Upcoming Programs

January 11: Artist, Michael Anderson will demonstrate On-Location Sketching Techniques. Last year Michael traveled to Italy where he spent a week sketching the city of Florence. He completed over 80 pages of sketches; many in color. He will be showing photos and sketches from his trip.  You can view his work at his website or see it on exhibit at Gateway Gallery.
February 8: To follow up on Michael Anderson's January sketching program we will provide a live model as well as a still life set-up to practice sketching.   Bring your pencils, inks, charcoals, or pastels and we will spend a couple hours sharing our sketching knowledge and techniques. We may provide a little wine and cheese to make the sketching go a little quicker.

March 8:  Program to be announced.

April 11 - May 22: GPA Exhibition at Maryland HeightsCenter.  Members only may submit two pastel painting for the exhibition. Details to be announced.

April 12:  Program to be announced

April 17:  Paula Ann Ford Landscape Workshop. An all day workshop. Go to the workshop page for details.
