Upcoming Workshops

April 17th, Paula Ann Ford Landscape Workshop

  

This will be an all day workshop designed for beginning and intermediate pastelists to improve their landscape painting skills.  Paula Ann Ford will be demonstrating her techniques for creating the beautiful atmospheric effects she uses in painting the Smoky Mountains near her home in Chattanooga, Tennessee.  You can see samples of her work and read her blog at www.paulaford.com.

This will be a “hands on” workshop where participating artists will create a landscape painting with Paula Ford’s guidance.

When: Saturday April 17th    9:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Where:  Garry McMichael’s Studio at 1926 Allen near Lafayette Square.

Cost: $80 for Gateway Pastel Artists;  Nonmembers, $100; join the Gateway Pastel Group, enjoy a years membership and the workshop for only $110.  Forty dollar deposit required to hold your spot.  If you cancel prior to April 9th your deposit is fully refundable.   Workshop limited to 15 participants.

Once you register, a workshop material list and directions to Garry’s studio will be provided.  You can register by mail or at the next GPA meeting.
